Are you passionate about sharing your love of reading with people of all ages?

We are seeking a Library and Archive Assistant to join our team in Sheffield Libraries, delivering a wide range of events and activities across all libraries in the city.

As a key member of our team, you will have strong IT skills and be an excellent communicator, working closely with colleagues and the community to provide an excellent service.

Our busy, fast-paced service includes singing in Baby RhymeTimes, facilitating reading groups with older children and adults, supporting people to use our computers, and undertaking a wide range of Library administration.

We offer a generous holiday entitlement and are open to discussions about flexible working opportunities, including reduced hour contracts, part-time or job share arrangements.

Our roles are based in Clusters, and you will work across all Libraries in Sheffield. We have roles available for permanent and temporary positions, with opportunities for career development and progression.
