Head Horticulturist

We are seeking an experienced Head Gardener to lead our gardening team and maintain the beauty of our estate in the Cotswolds.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of our gardens, which feature organically certified parkland, ornamental gardens, woodlands, and two lakes.

1. Develop and implement garden maintenance plans to ensure the gardens are well-maintained and look their best
2. Lead a team of gardeners and manage external contractors to achieve high aesthetic standards
3. Ensure efficient execution of tasks such as bed management, hedge cutting, pruning, and lawn mowing

The ideal candidate will have relevant horticultural qualifications, such as RHS level 3, or extensive experience in a large private estate. A full clean driving licence and ability to drive 4x vehicles, towing trailers and machinery, are also required.

£45,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
