GSL Education's Yorkshire branch is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a supportive Secondary School in Pontefract.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' personal and emotional development, while promoting positive behaviour and well-being. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalised support to students who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Assisting students in overcoming emotional and behavioural challenges, helping them stay engaged with the curriculum and develop essential life skills
  • Working closely with students to develop tailored support plans, promoting positive behaviour and well-being


Requirements

We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs. You will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH and be able to provide guidance and support to help them thrive.
