About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team at VINCI Building. As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Regional Design Manager in discharging their tender stage tasks and responsibilities.
  • Agree the specialist subcontractor procurement strategy with the site team.
  • Produce and agree the Project Stage Design Programme and associated Design Deliverables with the primary, secondary, and specialist subcontract designers.
  • Manage the on-site design process at 'RIBA Stage 4 and 5.'
  • Evaluate the return on investment to ensure it is a viable project.
  • Establish and agree the project Common Data Environment (CDE), the project file structure, virtual file links, email file links, security rights, workflows, and voting rights.
  • Establish the frequency and content for all design coordination workshops and progress meetings.
  • Produce the project-specific Design Management Plan (DMP) and BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and monitor compliance.

Requirements:

  • An architect or Design Manager with relevant qualification.
  • Previous experience working on projects in construction across varying sectors such as education, healthcare, and commercial.
  • Previous experience in the Construction sector working on mid to large new build & refurbishment projects.
