Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of the ward-based clinical Pharmacy team to complete medicines reconciliation for patients and associated tasks.
  • Working in the dispensary to undertake dispensing and final accuracy checking of prescriptions.
  • Providing training and support to colleagues as needed.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification such as NVQ3 and BTEC in Pharmaceutical Services or equivalent level.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Demonstrable relevant experience working within a Pharmacy environment, ideally from a hospital pharmacy setting.
