We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Despatch Operator. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our products to customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the movement of goods within our cold store facility, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Work closely with our warehouse team to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and ensure that all stock is properly stored and rotated.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of our automated guided vehicles, ensuring they are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and fault diagnosis to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Collaborate with our team to achieve daily targets and maintain strict food hygiene and Health & Safety standards within the department.
- Previous experience in a warehousing or cold store environment is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends on a rotating basis.
