Mitie is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to undertake all aspects of electrical installations, LED lighting installations, Electric Vehicle charger installations, minor works, test and inspection where applicable. The successful candidate will carry out project works on lighting & electrical projects for the retail, industrial, commercial, and government sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake LED Lighting and electrical installations, ensuring a high-quality end product with minimal rework.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lighting Project team, sub-contractors, and Project Manager to meet completion targets set for a particular project.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, often outside of normal working hours, including nights and occasional stays away from home.
  • Produce detailed electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and line schematics to ensure accurate installation.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, adhering to regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations and 18th Edition Update.
  • Test and Inspection desirable, with full training provided for those without experience.
  • SSSTS Accreditation and IPAF, PASMA desirable, with full training provided for those without experience.
  • Able to work at heights of up to 3 meters and lift weights of up to 25kg.
  • Hold a full UK driving license and possess strong customer care focus, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adapt to technical changes within the industry, attending training courses as required.
  • Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, with minimal supervision.
  • Work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
