Physical Education Teacher Opportunity

Leigh Academy Tonbridge

Full-time Role

The Supply Register Ltd is working in partnership with the Leigh Academies Trust to find a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Education Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role that requires the successful candidate to work closely with other teachers and leaders in the department, as well as across the LAT network, to secure excellent outcomes for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Physical Education curriculum
  • Design and deliver engaging and varied lessons for pupils
  • Achieve consistently outstanding teaching and learning in Physical Education
  • Achieve outstanding academic attainment and progress in Physical Education
  • Develop strong partnerships with parents and maintain regular communication
  • Ensure effective communication with pupils, parents, and colleagues

Requirements

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications for the UK
  • Evidence of being an outstanding teacher and leader in the subject
  • Up-to-date knowledge in the curriculum area
  • Understanding of what an outstanding education looks like in the classroom
  • Understanding of the importance of collaboration and communication in a school setting
