We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Semi Skilled Operative to join our team at Red Recruitment 24/7 Ltd. As a Semi Skilled Operative, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality standards and efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the maintenance of all housekeeping standards for all work areas, promoting a clean and organized work environment.
- Generate and maintain all relevant documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Work to customer specifications, utilizing Standard Operating Procedures and Engineering drawings to minimize scrap and defects.
- Perform Cell-specific tasks, as assigned in a secondary document detailing individual tasks.
- Assist with any other duties assigned, in line with the scope of the role.
- Understanding and adherence to the company's Health and Safety policy and procedures.
- Business quality standard and Business Excellence Model.
- Risk management in the context of IATF, as it applies to this role.
- Demonstrate and uphold the company values.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach towards personal development.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Emails.
- IFS system proficiency.
- Working with metal forming equipment, such as presses, rollers, and formers.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Time management.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
Days: Monday, Thursday, and Friday, with varying shift times.
Hours worked over 39 hours, Monday to Saturday, will be compensated at 1.5 times the rate, and Sunday hours will be double time.
Pay rate: £11.44 per hour.
