About the Role:
Pertemps Newcastle & Gateshead is working in partnership with Royal Mail to source professional Delivery Drivers to support their busy operation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join our team as a Courier Driver.

As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to local communities, working independently and as part of a team. You will start your day at the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. A hand-held computer device will guide you throughout your delivery journey, ensuring efficient and reliable service.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be upbeat and self-motivated, and display a strong sense of community. Previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role is desirable but not essential. You must hold a full UK manual driving licence, have no more than 6 penalty points, and pass a DBS security check before commencing work.
