Electrical Technician Job Description

At Prodrive, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Rally team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring all electrical items, spares, and equipment are prepared on time for our high-performance vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble wiring harnesses and electrical components to a high standard.
  • Travel to and assist on Rally events, ensuring all electrical systems are functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with Engineers to ensure cars are signed off electrically to the correct standard.
  • Maintain all electrical spares and sign off vehicles for competition.
  • Perform on-event and workshop duties as required by the Chief Mechanic.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a travelling/Rally role within Motorsport.
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical procedures.
  • Ability to follow build and operational procedures accurately.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to work calmly under pressure.
