We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN/SEND Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

As a SEN/SEND Tutor, you will be responsible for providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs. You will work closely with our team of SEN/SEND Support Specialists to ensure that every placement is a success for the young person and you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Working closely with our team of SEN/SEND Support Specialists to ensure that every placement is a success for the young person and you
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online assignments
