Queen's University Belfast is seeking a talented Assistant Librarian to join the Digital and Information Services team at the AFBI Library.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver library and research support services for designated groups of students and research staff.
- Work with electronic and printed resources to support a defined customer group in a library setting.
- Train and teach small and large groups.
- Collaborate with the Medical, Healthcare & AFBI Librarian to promote library services.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in library/information science or related area.
- Significant relevant experience, including at least two of the following:
- Working with electronic and printed resources, training/teaching, or working in an academic library.
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be based at the AFBI Library, Newforge Lane, Belfast, but may be subject to change.
