Salary


The estimated salary for this role is £35,000-£40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.



Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse to lead our team in delivering person-centered care to children, young people, and their families. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing risk, collaborating with families and other agencies, and developing effective treatment plans.



Main Responsibilities



  • Manage and assess risk as a large part of our role and collaborate with all systems.
  • Undertake assessments of young people, working collaboratively with families and other supporting agencies to manage needs.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that prioritize the voice and autonomy of young people.
  • Foster a warm, compassionate, and needs-led approach with our service users, their families, and their network.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A nursing degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Mentorship qualification or ENB 998. Willingness to train to become a sign-off mentor.
  • Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience.
  • Demonstrate effective risk assessment and risk management experience.
  • Experience in delivery of clinical interventions.
  • Experience in working in teams delivering person-centered treatment packages.
