We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Chislehurst Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing an effective and efficient psychology service to our residents.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, formulations, and treatments to our residents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulations of residents' presentations and treatment needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based individual and group treatment programs to address or reduce the negative impact of residents' presentations
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Direct and support others to carry out evidence-based psychological interventions
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are always adhered to and that risks are continuously assessed and managed
- Maintain CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and ensure competence in relation to the administration and scoring of psychological assessments and risk assessments
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers
- Current HCPC registration
- Experience and/or an evident and demonstrable interest in neuropsychology and/or behavioural interventions
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
- 25 days plus bank holidays
