Cyber Security Consultant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at InfoSec People Ltd. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of change activities to ensure secure-by-design thinking is embedded into everything we do and risks are understood and managed.

This role requires collaboration with multiple areas of the business and technology to support our mission in reducing cyber risk. Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with stakeholders, identifying and brokering additional security support, providing security requirements and guidance, ensuring threat modeling is in place, and collaborating with GRC and Security Culture teams.

Key qualifications for this role include demonstrated knowledge in at least two security domains, such as application security, network security, infrastructure security, cloud security, end-user compute security, IoT and ICU security. A clear understanding and experience of risk assessment and compliance frameworks are also essential, along with a minimum of 5 years in technology and 2 years of security engineering or similar experience.

Desirable skills include supporting qualifications in technology or security, such as Microsoft/Azure Architecture, British Computer Society Diploma, or certifications like CISSP, CISM, CRISK, CGEIT, CCAK, CCSK, CCSP. A degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security is also desirable.

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on location and experience.
