About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Anaesthetist to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a General Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anaesthetic services to patients undergoing surgery
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement anaesthetic services to improve patient outcomes
  • Supervise and mentor junior anaesthetists
  • Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Eligibility to join the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia
  • 6 months advanced obstetric training to RCoA standards or equivalent
  • Experience in teaching Foundation Year and Specialty Trainees
  • Understanding of NHS management structure and recent changes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
