About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Primary School in Loughborough. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our Class Teachers to provide support and guidance to students in KS1 and KS2. Your duties will include facilitating learning through play, small group interventions, and general classroom support. You will also have the opportunity to work with our students on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to students in KS1 and KS2
  • Facilitate learning through play and small group interventions
  • Work closely with Class Teachers to promote student learning and achievement
  • Support students on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to help them overcome challenges
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Person Specification
  • Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years
  • Ability to work in a team and provide support to students and staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
