CNC Machinist Job Description

As a CNC Machinist at Morson Talent, you will be responsible for the programming and operation of CNC multi-axis turning centres. This role requires experience with one or more of the following CNC controls: Siemens and Mazak.

You will work to fine tolerances (imperial & metric measurements) and utilize appropriate measuring equipment. Additionally, you will read and interpret engineering drawings, and have experience working within an engineering environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent attitude towards Health & Safety and good working practice, as well as flexibility to variable work patterns with a forward-thinking commercial attitude.

A Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent is required for this position. NVQ Level 2 applications are also considered with relevant experience.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, with variable working patterns and shift pay enhancement (18% uplift). The estimated annual salary for this position is around £43,000 - £53,000 depending on location.
