Nursing Professional Band 5 Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic nursing professional to join our multidisciplinary team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care for patients with medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake the assessment of patient care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care in an acute medical setting.
- Ensure that all nursing procedures are carried out in accordance with Trust policies and that these procedures are understood and adhered to by all staff within your management responsibility.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing empathy and reassurance regarding assessment, care, and treatment.
- Facilitate early discharge planning, making referrals and providing information to community services as required, to achieve a safe and timely discharge from the hospital.
- Ensure safe custody and administration of drugs according to The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust policy and procedures.
- Supervise junior or unqualified staff in all aspects of care and ensure that they have the knowledge, skills, and resources to carry out care delegated to them.
