Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Export Trade Administrator to join our team at Right Now Recruitment. As an Export Trade Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of export transactions, managing trade documentation, and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and banks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Documentation Management: Prepare and issue export documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, in accordance with international trade regulations.
  • Customer and Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, inspection companies, laboratories, freight forwarders, and banks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Trade Finance and Compliance: Check and validate letters of credit, contracts, and other trade documents to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare instructions for warehouses, plants, and freight forwarders, and arrange for the certification and legalization of documents as required.
  • Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the export trade function.
Requirements
  • Trade Knowledge: Working knowledge of Incoterms, UCP 600, or ISBP 98, and experience in export trade, banking, freight forwarding, or logistics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with additional European languages, particularly French, being an asset.
