Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a leading Recruitment agency specialising in Automotive, Motor trade, Engineering, OEM and various related industries, we are recruiting across the UK for various technical roles.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician to work closely with our breakdown team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and working on vehicles to get them back on the road or ensuring they are safely transported to a workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend breakdowns and diagnose issues with vehicles
  • Work on vehicles to get them back on the road or safely transport them to a workshop
  • Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues
  • Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and vehicle diagnostics
  • Provide exceptional customer service as the face of our business

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
  • A customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence
