About the Role

This role is responsible for supervising and supporting the onsite and technical operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of our fire and security solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement high-quality control procedures, establish a culture of safe working, and maintain accurate records of engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of engineers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs to drive technical and personal growth within the team.
  • Develop and implement training plans in collaboration with the Quoted Works Manager.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry standards and provide technical support to both the engineering team and the wider business.
  • Schedule and allocate resources efficiently, utilizing the team's skillset and job requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Promote a culture of safe working and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other engineering supervisors to maintain consistency across departments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive knowledge of installation and small works as an engineer and/or supervisor.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with the team, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
