Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead our cloud engineering team and drive the design, development, and delivery of cloud features and functionality on our new core strategic platform built on Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of experienced cloud engineers to deliver cloud solutions and infrastructure on Azure.
- Design, develop, and deliver cloud features and functionality on our new core strategic platform.
- Migrate our core services from on-prem data centers to Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to release enterprise-class cloud services.
- Work with the architecture function to define cloud best practices and design, build, and test cloud-native services.
- Develop a product catalog based on Infrastructure as Code to empower developers to deliver at pace.
Requirements
- Experience in managing or leading a team.
- Strong experience with Azure, specifically building infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies and services.
- Strong background in enterprise infrastructure, ideally with experience in Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux Operating Systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
- Strong scripting ability in languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Experience with Git and source control best practices.
