Job Overview


We are looking for a skilled Senior Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.



About the Role


This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys working with technical systems and troubleshooting complex issues. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres.



Key Responsibilities



  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as visual checks and condition-based monitoring, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Supervise technicians on shift, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work collaboratively with the team to implement changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A strong background in electrical and mechanical disciplines, with relevant experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A basic proficiency in English, with advanced proficiency in verbal and written communication.


Preferred Qualifications


We welcome applications from individuals with experience working in multi-contractor and multi-site environments, as well as those with a degree in a technical discipline or operations management.
