About the Role

The Logistics Planner will be responsible for planning and managing all tanker servicing activities within the Central Logistics team at our Glasgow Head Office. This role will involve managing the team's day-to-day workload and planning the Tanker Services routes & servicing.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all tankering services are met within expected timeframes.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with our depots.
  • Plan and manage the team's day-to-day workload.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate route planning and vehicle maintenance checks to create efficiencies.

About You

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Logistics Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Recent and proven experience working in a Logistics Planner role, preferably within a high-volume and UK-wide environment.
  • Experience of managing a successful logistics team with responsibility for processes and route planning.
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbally, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word.
