Job Overview

The role of a Strategic Public Sector Account Development Specialist at ESP involves actively pursuing new public sector clients by leveraging partnerships, industry expertise, and networking skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new public sector clients through strategic partnerships, industry expertise, and networking.
  • Account Development: Strengthen and expand relationships with existing public sector clients by providing solutions to enhance their cybersecurity.
  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong connections with government entities, understanding their changing security needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Cybersecurity Insight: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, with a focus on applications within the public sector.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for client interactions, government events, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years in Sales: Proven experience in IT or cybersecurity sales with strong skills in building relationships within the public sector.
  • Government Interaction: Familiarity with working alongside government entities, understanding procurement practices, and managing compliance requirements.
  • Cybersecurity Insight: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, with a focus on applications within the public sector.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled in efficiently resolving critical issues as they arise.
  • Relevant Education: Ideally holds a degree or advanced education in a related field.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for client interactions, government events, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Compensation: Competitive base salary up to £100,000-115,000 + double OTE.
