Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part Time Cook to join our team at Sodexo. As a Part Time Cook, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals to the highest standards of health, hygiene, and safety.
  • Ensure routine day-to-day cleaning of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, kitchen floors, and storage areas.
  • Manage and control all food, including receiving and checking stock, checking equipment and materials are used correctly, and monitoring portion control.
  • Collect and record routine data as required and perform daily checks, including temperature control during production, preparation, service, and storage.
  • Report any accidents, near misses, damage, or breakages to the Catering supervisor.
  • Ensure the Catering Department is opened and closed at the required times and secured when not in use.
  • Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the duties and responsibilities of the post.
  • Attend relevant training sessions to ensure you are fully equipped to perform your role effectively.
