Payroll Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Shared Services Administrator to join our team at Culina Group. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide administrative support for the employee lifecycle process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with employment legislation and company policies. They will also assist in processing payrolls, managing absence and attendance records, and administering pension communications.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the payroll inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Assist in processing monthly and weekly payrolls, including calculation and input of timesheets.
- Ensure accurate recording of absence and attendance records, statutory payments, and third-party deductions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports using tools like Excel and Pivot Tables.
- Communicate overpayments and work collaboratively with the HRSS team to deliver a professional service.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment, although training will be provided if required.
- Knowledge of Excel, including experience with Pivot Tables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products.
- Familiarity with IT packages relevant to payroll systems, such as HMRC.
- Flexibility, thoroughness, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
Culina Group offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
