We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our CAMHS Inpatient Service team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to young people with acute mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the provision of a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week in-patient based service across an acute care pathway.
- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care in conjunction with patients, carers, and other professionals.
- Develop and implement care plans to meet individual needs, ensuring a high standard of nursing care is maintained.
- Take charge of a ward in the absence of a charge nurse.
As a Staff Nurse with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, you will benefit from:
- A comprehensive preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses.
- A robust and supportive welcome programme, including local CAMHS induction and wider Trust induction.
- The opportunity to apply for the Children's and Young Persons Mental Health Inpatient Training Programme with the University of Reading.
- In-house training on topics such as Attachment and Trauma, Eating Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
