Class 2 Driver Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Class 2 driver to join our team at HSS Hire Bellshill. As a permanent, full-time employee, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe transportation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to our clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections using our smartphone app.
  • Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Drive company vehicles responsibly and safely, adhering to all traffic laws and the highway code.
  • Represent HSS Hire and its values, providing professional support and assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • A valid Category C (Class 2) driving license.
  • A valid driver qualification card and digital tachograph card.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve complex customer inquiries.
  • Knowledge of safe loading and transporting of hazardous goods.
  • Demonstrated compliance with manual handling regulations.
