Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Group Tax Manager to lead our taxation function and provide strategic advice on all aspects of tax. As a key member of the senior finance team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day compliance, implementing a group tax strategy, and advising on the tax implications of M&A activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day compliance of the group's taxation function
  • Implement a group tax strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
  • Provide strategic advice on all aspects of tax, including corporate tax, VAT, and employment taxes
  • Advise on the tax implications of M&A activity and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including PE investors, auditors, and other external partners

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive cross-UK tax experience, preferably with exposure to working closely with PE investors
  • A flexible approach to managing a diverse workload and meeting the needs of the business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders
