Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Harrison Scott Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT equipment, including networks, servers, desktop computers, and related hardware, telephones, software, and services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company's IT equipment is operational on a day-to-day basis.
- Create, modify, and remove user, email, and Skype accounts as needed.
- Install and configure desktop computers and related hardware.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to users, desktop computers, printers, scanners, software, or similar hardware and software.
- Monitor internet and email usage in line with company policy.
- Contribute to the procurement of new and replacement IT equipment.
- Have a good working knowledge of Active Directory administration within Windows Server 2008 domains.
- Provide support for Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office products.
- Maintain and update software updates on servers, desktop computers, and the company's chosen computer database system.
- Support the development and updating of the company's website.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) used within the IT department.
