Housekeeping Assistant

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in our care homes. Your focus will be on ensuring that all areas are well-presented and maintained in good condition. You will work as part of a team to achieve this goal, operating according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials.
Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all you do. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. They will also have experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting and demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry services to residents.
