We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gardening Manager to join our team at Easton Walled Gardens. As a key member of our horticultural team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gardens, including managing a team of gardeners and ensuring the highest standards of gardening are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise a team of gardeners to achieve high-quality gardening standards.
- Develop and implement gardening plans and strategies to maintain and improve the gardens.
- Collaborate with the Head Gardener to ensure the overall success of the gardens.
- Take responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of individual gardens within the holiday lets.
- Work with perennials, shrubs, alpines, annuals, vegetables, bulbs, and trees to create beautiful and diverse planting schemes.
- Proven experience in horticultural management, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team of gardeners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
