Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetic Endoscopy Practitioner to join our Endoscopy unit at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the care needs of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures under sedation or general anaesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop care plans for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
  • Provide skilled assistance to consultants during procedures
  • Ensure all flexible endoscopes are processed, stored, used, and tracked in accordance with current regulations
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • RGN Level 1 (current registration with NMC or HCPC)
  • Anaesthetics course
  • Endoscopy experience desirable
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
