Job Title: Arboriculture Trainee

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Arboriculture Trainee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting experienced arborists in maintaining the health and safety of trees across Sussex, Kent, and South London.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in tree care and surgery, working alongside our experienced team members. You will be required to complete all necessary training and qualifications within 2-3 years, which will include earning NPTC (National Proficiency Tests Council) certifications. Our company operates gangs throughout the South East of England, providing a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist experienced arborists with daily tasks, including tree pruning, felling, and planting.
  • Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working condition.
  • Develop skills and knowledge in tree identification, physiology, and anatomy.

Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • No prior experience necessary; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
  • National minimum wage (£10.42/hour) + benefits package (30 days annual leave, pension scheme, etc.).
