About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DB Pensions Administrator to join our growing team at Oval Recruit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing your DB skills and knowledge, allowing you to take on complex clients and develop a sense of ownership for the clients you work with.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a portfolio of clients, developing an awareness of their needs and requirements.
  • Perform complex calculations as required, checking the work of junior team members and providing assistance where needed.
  • Develop an understanding of complex cases, including divorce, death claims, and tax issues.
  • Draft client correspondence and assist junior team members with non-standard letters.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation and industry changes that may affect clients, highlighting changes and developments to them and making necessary adjustments to calculations, client communications, and activities.
  • Take a proactive approach to finding better, more efficient ways to service client needs and provide an excellent service.
  • Act as a mentor for junior team members, helping them develop and improve their technical knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have DB Pensions Administration experience and demonstrate good technical knowledge. You will also need to show an ability to work independently, communicate effectively with clients to develop relationships, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
