**Job Summary**

Keltbray is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team as an Overhead Line Lead Design Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to work with a growing and successful company, with exciting prospects for career growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage outsourced design activities to ensure timely completion and compliance with current standards.
  • Assist with tender reviews to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Plan and manage workload to meet project timelines.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure quality and standards are adhered to.
  • Take responsibility for design deliverables and ensure they meet expected quality and KPI targets.
  • Undertake and review design studies, technical documents, drawings, and calculations.
  • Attend site visits and meetings as required.
  • Drive safety by design and contribute to CDM requirements.
  • Ensure performance meets KPI targets for on-time delivery, requirements management, and right-first time.

**Requirements**

  • HNC/HND or equivalent is a minimum; BSc., BEng. or equivalent is desirable.
  • IEng or CEng chartership status is desirable.
  • Proficient in PLS design Software.
  • Experience in using CAD tools is an advantage.
  • 8+ years' experience in OHL design.
  • Good understanding of CDM 2015.
  • Strong understanding of T&D interfaces such as HV Plant Cable design, Civil design.
  • Good written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • IT literate in MS office applications.
  • Ability to solve problems within a multi-disciplinary team.
