Job Title: In-Store Visual Merchandiser – Mayfair

MODE SEARCH Ltd. is exclusively supporting a globally recognised luxury brand in their search for an in-store Visual Merchandiser for one of their central London locations, while also supporting on special projects across the region.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Visual Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting products and services in-store through creative and visually appealing displays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy to enhance the in-store experience
  • Create visually appealing displays that lead the customer through the entire store
  • Liaise with various departments to create design themes and plans, including window and in-store displays, signage, and pricing concepts
  • Research current and future trends in design and lifestyle, and associated target market features
  • Identify and source props, fabrics, hardware, and lighting
  • Maintain a budget and negotiate with suppliers of visual materials
  • Work with architectural features of stores to maximise the available space
  • Assemble or dismantle visual displays in windows or in-store
  • Act in alignment with the organisation's culture, products, image, and target market
  • Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes
  • Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications, or similar is an advantage
  • 3 years of proven work experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Manager
  • Experience within the luxury retail industry
  • Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio
  • Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays, and space utilisation
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools
