Electrical Systems Engineer

A leading manufacturing company based in Oxfordshire is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Automation Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the smooth operation of the business by ensuring that all automation systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance work, including checking and testing equipment, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to prevent downtime. You will also work closely with other maintenance engineers to develop and maintain preventative maintenance plans, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and running at optimal levels.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance work, including checks and tests of equipment
- Identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent downtime
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance plans with other maintenance engineers
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in electrical engineering, preferably with a degree or equivalent qualification. You should also have relevant experience in mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
