Curriculum Development Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a highly motivated Curriculum Development Assistant to support our dedicated faculty and help students explore the wonders of the scientific world. The ideal candidate will have a passion for practical experiments and education, as well as strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Curriculum Development Assistant, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of new experiments and resources, while maintaining and managing science equipment to ensure proper functionality and availability.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and resources for practical science experiments.
- Assist teachers and students during experiments, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Maintain and manage science equipment, ensuring proper functionality and availability.
- Monitor stock levels and liaise with the relevant departments for procurement.
- Contribute to the development of new experiments and resources.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a School Science Technician or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
