Artemis Human Capital is seeking an exceptional Trade Union Legal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will handle a mixed caseload of employment law matters, working closely with trade union members and providing high-quality legal support.
About the Opportunity- This is a challenging and rewarding role with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main responsibilities include:
Main Responsibilities- Managing a caseload of employment law cases from initial instruction through to conclusion
- Collaborating closely with trade union representatives to ensure comprehensive client support and legal advice aligned with union objectives
- Providing clear, accurate legal advice to clients on a wide range of employment issues
- Preparing, drafting, and reviewing relevant legal documents
- Handling and supporting multi-claimant cases, particularly in relation to holiday pay and equal pay
Requirements include:
Requirements- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with demonstrable experience in employment law
- Proven experience in claimant employment law cases, with a particular focus on discrimination, unfair dismissal, and whistleblowing claims
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly to clients, union representatives, and tribunal officials
- Flexible working arrangements, including the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week
