About the Role

Pertemps TM is delighted to be supporting one of the leading Civil Engineering and Construction firms within the South West of England.

The company has gained a significant pipeline of Civil Engineering projects and is in need of an autonomous Planner to join their growing Project Management team.

This is a great opportunity to join a company that can offer career progression and stability past a contract or phase of work.

They are involved in a number of historic and future frameworks, making this a great role for a team player who wants to help shape not only a business but the community spaces in Cornwall it supports.

  • Extensive experience of civil engineering, ideally with a Tier 1 contractor
  • Active experience of working with a wide range of planning techniques in serving both tendering and contract delivery
  • Understanding of the commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project and P6

This role would suit a Planner who wants to oversee logistics, deploy workers, manage budgets and ensure that work is on schedule.

The successful candidate will work closely with estimators, engineers, surveyors and architects to keep projects on track and manage conflicting priorities.

This is a office-based role, with some flexibility to work from home, and would be ideal for someone who wants to be based in the South West of England.
