We are seeking an experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver daily operations, engage colleagues, and manage store teams to achieve sales growth and profitability. Your responsibilities will include supporting KPIs, maximizing store sales, maintaining high store standards, and championing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager to deliver on store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Maximize store sales and profitability through effective inventory management and staff engagement
  • Maintain consistently high store standards in line with auditing requirements
  • Assist with stock take preparation and implement action plans to improve results
  • Champion a safe working environment by leading by example on food safety, health, and safety compliance
  • Lead exceptional customer service for the store
  • Manage social media to drive sales and engage with the local community
  • Oversee store ordering to ensure customer availability of products
  • Support the Store Manager in managing the team, including roster writing, return-to-work interviews, and performance management
