About the Role:
As a Cleaning Supervisor at Tenon FM, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning duties across our sites, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of cleaning staff and interact with the Account Management team to ensure effective service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with employees and ensure they are working productively and safely.
- Present yourself in a professional, courteous, and appropriate manner in accordance with our company policies and values.
- Work closely with site teams to deliver excellent service and meet customer expectations.
- Support and guide cleaning teams to achieve high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Report maintenance issues and work with customers to address specific requirements or concerns.
- Conduct regular site cleaning audits and ensure any failures are addressed within 48 hours.
- Support in the recruitment and training of new employees, including site familiarisation and cleaning regime training.
- Provide hands-on cleaning support and respond to cleaning requests as needed.
- Deliver safety and toolbox talks, and maintain accurate records.
- Schedule and assign duties to cleaners, ensuring they are carried out to the correct standards.
- Support in rota organisation and provide accurate timesheets to the accounts management team.
- Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels, and place orders as required.
- Contribute to maintaining good relationships with customer representatives on site.
- Complete regular audits to measure cleaning performance and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values.
About You:
- You must have supervisory experience and be able to supervise a small team, complete weekly rotas, timesheets, and consumables ordering, and possess basic IT skills.
- You should have proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor and be hands-on, able to build credible relationships, and possess reasonable IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- You should have experience of audits and working with high standards, be able to listen to and motivate employees, and have a proven record of being responsive and innovative.
- You should be self-motivated, able to work flexibly as part of a team, and have strong organisational skills.
