Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Art Teacher to lead our thriving Art department in a well-resourced and highly successful school in North London. This is a full-time position offering an exciting leadership opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Art department, overseeing the development and implementation of a dynamic and engaging Art curriculum.
  • Teach Art at KS3 & KS4 with potential opportunities at KS5, inspiring students to achieve academic excellence.
  • Mentor and support Art teachers within the department, fostering a culture of artistic excellence.
  • Drive departmental initiatives, promoting creativity and innovation in teaching.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Art Teacher with the ability to lead and manage a department.
  • Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
  • Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE).
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Passion for art and a commitment to inspiring students.
