Role Overview:

Succession Wealth, a leading Financial Advisory firm, is seeking a highly skilled Data and Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing an enterprise-wide data architecture that aligns with our business needs and objectives.

About the Role:

This 6-month contract position, with potential for extension, offers a day rate of £450 - £500 (depending on experience). You will be working closely with our CTO, IT team, and Operational Management teams to design and implement the architecture of multiple systems and platforms.

The scope of work includes designing and implementing an enterprise-wide data architecture, developing and maintaining data models, designing and integrating data pipelines, and selecting and configuring data management solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement an enterprise-wide data architecture aligned with business needs and objectives
  • Develop and maintain data models to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance
  • Design and integrate data pipelines for efficient data movement and transformation
  • Select and configure data management and storage solutions
  • Design and implement IT systems architecture, including hardware, software, networks, and security
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure data quality, compliance, and security
  • Document technical designs, processes, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data architecture, systems design, and designing and implementing data models
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance methodologies
  • Strong understanding of data security principles and best practices
  • Experience with SQL and other data querying languages
  • Experience with IT infrastructure components (hardware, software, networks)
  • Experience gained within Financial services, ideally wealth management
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
