Toolmaker

At TE Connectivity, we're looking for a skilled Toolmaker to join our team. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for creating and repairing tools and dies, working with precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manufacture new tools and repair/renovate old tools
• Operate machines and carry out activities in a safe and responsible manner
• Plan jobs through various stages of manufacture, deciding on the correct machinery and processes to use
• Achieve tasks within set timeframes to meet departmental targets

Requirements:

• Good general education with numeracy and perception essential
• Ability to work to very fine tolerances and read engineering drawings
• Initiative in problem-solving and providing solutions to tool manufacturing problems
