Job Title: Apprentice Engineering Quality Inspector

CV Library is seeking a meticulous Commercial Quality Control Inspector to ensure all our operations adhere to the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations, maintenance, and repair work to ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
  2. Monitor and inspect gas pipelines, equipment, and connections throughout all stages of a project.
  3. Perform audits of work sites, assessing both the quality of work and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  4. Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  5. Ensure all inspections are accurately documented and reported, maintaining detailed records for compliance and auditing purposes.
  6. Assist in the development of quality control procedures and training programs for staff.
  7. Perform risk assessments and propose preventive measures to mitigate potential quality and safety issues.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a quality control role within the gas industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
  2. Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications related to gas installations.
  3. Proficient in using quality control tools and software for documentation and reporting.
